Medical Interpreter \u2013 Independent Contractor<\/h2>\n

U.S.-based Independent Contractor Interpreters\u00a0to provide accurate, ethical, and culturally sensitive interpretation services for Limited English Proficient (LEP) clients. We serve\u00a0medical facilities, courts, schools, churches, events, and other professional settings.<\/p>\n

Scope of Work<\/h2>\n
    \n
  • Provide\u00a0onsite, phone, and video interpretation\u00a0services<\/li>\n
  • Perform\u00a0consecutive and simultaneous interpretation\u00a0as required<\/li>\n
  • Interpret all communication accurately, clearly, and impartially while maintaining confidentiality and cultural sensitivity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Requirements<\/h2>\n
      \n
    • Fluency in English and at least one additional language<\/li>\n
    • Knowledge of medical and\/or professional terminology and interpreter ethics<\/li>\n
    • OHA Qualified or OHA Certified preferred<\/li>\n
    • Must be located within the United States<\/li>\n
    • For phone\/video assignments: reliable internet connection and a private, quiet workspace<\/li>\n
    • Professional, neutral, punctual, and reliable<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Independent Contractor Status:<\/h2>\n

      This position is offered on an\u00a0independent contractor basis.
